About Stevie (blind)

Stevie is a very special little guy, in need of a special home. We think he must've been blind for quite some time but it doesn't seem to have stopped him.

He absolutely loves snuggling up on the sofa, he doesn’t seem to like to lay or sit on the floor but he does like a soft, comfy dog bed with heaps of blankets. He can bark quite a bit, particularly if he can’t get on sofa or his food is being prepared! He always very excited to hear & smell his foster parents coming in from being out. His little tail goes super quick & they get a happy bark. He's understandably unsure of strangers coming into the house & can get a bit growly.

He enjoys his walkies, preferably open spaces so he can roam a bit on a long lead without risk of bumping into things. He meets other dogs on walks & has a good sniff, has also walked passed cats & hasn’t seemed interested.

We think a quiet, adult only home would suit Stevie best. Not too much furniture or other things that could be knocked into or over. He can manage the odd step in & out of the house but we don't think he'd do well with flights of stairs. He'll need a simple garden, just some grass, preferably very few bushes, shrubs or other potential hazards like ponds.

He seems to manage fine as an only dog but would probably also be okay with another, calm, older dog in the house. We think bold cats would be fine. Stevie is a really lovable little fella & a perfect size for cuddles!
