About Rex

Sweet natured Rex was hit by a car in Romania & left to die on the side of the road as he was unable to walk. A series of things lead to him being picked up & dumped in a 'kill shelter' where a lady we work with spotted him & asked for help. Luckily for Rex, he was mostly badly bruised & had shocking road rash, down to the bone in 3 places but only his tail was broken, which sadly couldn't be saved. He took nearly 3 months to recover enough to travel to us but he's here now & doing well with no lasting injuries beyond the scarring, though he does still need to gain weight & general condition.

Rex is just medium sized at around 20kg. He's had no real input in his life so needs training from scratch. Being very foody, it shouldn't be too difficult for someone who is prepared to put the work in. He's very bouncy & over the top excitable at the moment but that's just because he doesn't know any better & is so desperate to be loved & bond with someone.

Rex is fine with other dogs but not interested in them so we think he'd prefer to be an only dog. Kids of 12+ due to all the leaping about! Not cat tested
