Benji is an absolutely lovely boy of about 10kg. He adores affection and will actively seek it. He can be a bit of a shadow as he likes to be with you wherever you are.

He has slept in a crate at night with no issues. He now sleeps out of the crate overnight (although crate still available with door open) in the lounge, is quiet and causes no issues, chewing or mess.

He needs work on lead training, though progress is already being made, Benji gives a Basenji howl of excitement when he sees another dog. This needs work as not the most polite approach!

He gets on great with other dogs, his play is a tad exuberant but he listens when told by other dogs and is respectful.
He has been lovely to foster as he is such a polite and friendly boy, who wants to meet and be friends with everyone.

We think Benji would benefit from a confident resident dog, as he doesn’t seem to like being on his own much.

He will make someone a nice companion or family pet.
