Tilly is a lovely, friendly, calm & gentle lady. She's a little shy initially but it soon passes and she is friendly & quiet. She loves a fuss and tummy rub but is not over demanding. Likes to be close but equally happy to do her own thing. She's about 27kg but should be more like 30kg, so about the size of a Labrador but taller and longer in the body.
She loves to be out in the garden exploring, having zoomies or just laying outside resting, very contented. She's just discovering toys, along with lots of other new things and does try to have a go, but some things are too much for her on the first try, she's a sensitive soul and will need a bit of time and patience to flourish.
Tilly is starting to enjoy her walks, she's good on lead but does need guidance as to what’s expected, then she will happily trot along by your side. She's quite worried by traffic or being walked near roads at the moment, stationary cars, bikes etc are fine but needs countryside walking to enjoy it. Slow introductions to traffic will be needed to get her over her fears. She's okay travelling in the car though.
She's been fine meeting dogs out, happy to say hello but equally happy to just walk past. She's not so keen to be near big or bouncy dogs. We think she'd be okay living with another, well mannered dog or on her own, as long as she has plenty of human company.
Tilly has always known her name which has helped a lot, she knows little else. We have been working on come, stay and wait. Her recall has come on well, she is delighted with herself when she runs back towards you at speed!
This beautiful lady will need regular grooming to keep her shaggy coat tangle free.
Quieter home preferred, older kids. Fine with bold cats
